How can I become an ANZ Balance Visa account holder?

The ANZ Balance Visa card is no longer available for applications as this credit card is no longer available to new customers.

How can I check my ANZ Balance Visa Reward Points balance?

You can check your Reward Points balance online by viewing your account. The Rewards Statement outlines:

  1. The number of Reward Points earned on your repayments
  2. The total number of Reward Points available for redemption
  3. Any rewards redeemed.

Can I have more than one email address associated with my account?

For each individual ANZ Balance Visa account, there can be only one email address that will activate your rewards online account on the ANZ Balance Visa rewards website. This provides a unique identifier for security.

How do I redeem online?

On the home page, log on using your email address and password. If you are not registered, you will need to select "Register". Click on Redeem Rewards tab and select one of the categories on the left hand side, or search by the number of Reward Points for a reward that you want to redeem.

What do I do if I have forgotten my password for the rewards website?

If you have forgotten your password for the rewards website, a temporary password can be generated. Alternatively, you may call the ANZ Rewards Centre on
1300 368 324, 8am to 8pm AEST Monday to Friday excluding national public holidays.

What can I redeem for my Reward Points?

You can redeem Reward Points for Cashback to your account, Shopping Vouchers and Gift Cards. You can search for rewards by category. You can also search for rewards by the number of Reward Points required using the "Search by Reward Points" function located on the Redeem Rewards page.

Do my ANZ Balance Visa Reward Points expire?

No, your Reward Points do not have an expiry date while your card account is open.
In the event your card account is closed, any Reward Points that remain unused must be used within 60 days of the date of closure. Reward Points that remain unused after that period will be cancelled. Please refer to the ANZ Balance Visa Rewards Program Terms & Conditions for further conditions.

How can I earn Reward Points?

You earn Reward Points on your ANZ Balance Visa by making payments on the balance of your card account. Reward Points accrue in accordance with the ANZ Balance Visa Rewards Program Terms & Conditions.

Do I only earn Reward Points when I pay back my entire balance?

No. You earn Reward Points when you repay any portion of your balance, regardless of whether you repay your entire balance. (The only exception is that Reward Points are not earned on Cashback redemptions credited to your account.)

What is the cash advance fee on ANZ Balance Visa?

The cash advance fee is 2% of the cash advance amount. Please note that unlike other ANZ Credit Cards, this fee is charged even if the account has a credit (positive) balance at the time.

What is an Auto-Redemption and how can I set it up?

Your ANZ Balance Visa offers you the ability to pre-select your preferred redemption and we will automatically arrange it for you when you are eligible to receive it.

Can I receive emails with up-to-date special offers?

Yes. Click here to register on the ANZ Balance Visa rewards website to check your Reward Points balance, redeem online and view your Rewards Statement. Once you have registered, you will also receive email updates with special offers. You are able to opt out of receiving emails at any time by going to the Maintain Account Details page.

What browser version is recommended to view this site?

To maximise your website experience and ensure the highest level of website security, ANZ Balance Visa recommends that you use Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. I am having difficulties activating my ANZ Balance Visa rewards website account or logging in because the page will not display. What do I do?

If you are having problems trying to Log on or Activate your account on the ANZ Balance Visa rewards website because the relevant page will not display, this is most likely due to the Internet Browser version that you are using.

When trying to activate my ANZ Balance Visa rewards website account, I get the message: "The information you have entered is not recognised by this website. Please check your birth date and credit card number and try again." What do I need to do?

This message means either you may have entered incorrect details, or our system may not have been updated with your account details. When you try to activate your ANZ Balance Visa rewards website account the system doesn't recognise your details. If you have only recently received your card from ANZ, it can be up to 6 weeks before your account details are available in our system. If you have had your card for more than 6 weeks and you are experiencing difficulties activating your account, please phone the ANZ Rewards Centre on 1300 368 324, 8am to 8pm AEST Monday to Friday excluding national public holidays.
